Documents and processing

The checker reads selected PDFs and runs text extraction/OCR in your browser. The application has no document-upload endpoint and does not intentionally send the selected document contents to our hosting. Reports remain in memory until you clear the session or leave; downloaded reports remain on your device.

PDF.js, OCR worker code and language data are loaded from external providers including Cloudflare cdnjs, jsDelivr and Project Naptha. Requests to these providers expose ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser headers. The OCR library caches language resources in browser storage. Browser extensions and your own device environment are outside this application's control.

Browser storage and feedback

The application keeps a limited local event history under tradedoc_beta_events and your most recent usefulness response under tradedoc_last_feedback. Events can include counts, scores, document type and page counts, but this code does not include document text or filenames in those event records. This feedback stays in your browser. Clear session removes the active document selection and report; it does not delete these browser records, OCR caches or downloaded files. To remove them, clear this site's browser data and delete downloads separately.

Analytics and hosting

Google Analytics is currently unconfigured and is not loaded. If enabled in a future release, optional consent and this notice must be reviewed first. Our host and external content providers may keep ordinary request/security logs; we do not claim a verified log-retention period.

Contact

Contact links open your email app or Gmail. A message is sent only after you choose to send it there. Your email provider and the receiving mailbox handle that message. Do not send confidential shipment documents or personal identifiers. Use the contact page for privacy questions; no fixed response or deletion deadline is promised.
